Sawyer turns 4!!

Sawyer has had a great week of celebrating his birthday! Yesterday we took a Spiderman cake and celebrated with his class. Sawyer said, "yummy Spiderman cake!". He had a great time blowing out candles and being sung to. He gave all his friends goodie bags.

First day at new school

Sawyer started Pre-K at his new school today. Right away he saw lots of toys and books that he liked! I think he's going to really enjoy this school!

Playdough Fun & Amigos

Amigos is our favorite restaurant here in Skopje. Sawyer always gets lots of attention from the waitresses there and he absolutely loves their chips! The last time we went they brought us out some free special desserts. They fixed Sawyer a special drink (don't worry -- it may look alcoholic but it's not!!). I think he enjoyed the little umbrella more than the drink:)

Also, Sawyer and I enjoy creating things with playdough. He always wants me to help him make a helicopter or train.

An IPod "Oh-No"

We're having some American friends stay at our house for a few days. They have some neat-o electronics that Sawyer is very fascinated with. They have an IPod, a mini laptop, and an IPhone, all of which Sawyer is not use to seeing. Sawyer was sneaking around a little yesterday playing with their things. Later an IPod earphone cover was missing. We showed Sawyer the one that was not missing and asked,
"Sawyer, where is the other one? Where did you put it?"
Sawyer said, "In my mouth."
Then we asked, "Well, then what happened to it? Did you swallow it?"
Sawyer said, "I spit it out."
"Where did you spit it out? In here?" we asked
"In Sawyer's room." said Sawyer
We looked all over his room but couldn't find it:( There is NO telling where it ended up! I'm just thankful it is something easy to replace--Whew!
